Irene Candow (McPherson)

October 19, 1944 - November 8, 2024

Passed away at her home with family by her side on Friday, November 8th, 2024, at the age of 80.

Irene will be remembered for her warmth, her humour, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Much-loved mother of Lorna and Stephen. Most cherished Grandmother of Nicholas, Adam, Jacob, Matthew, and Sandra. Dear sister of Donald (Betty) and Margaret (Richard). Predeceased by her loving husband Winston (Duke) Candow, brother George, as well as her parents Donald and Margaret (Ina) MacPherson.

Visitation will take place at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby, on Friday, November 15th from 2:00 pm until the time of service in the Barnes Chapel at 3:00 pm. An onsite reception will follow.

In memory of Irene, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
