BRUNELLE, Carrie - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful mom Carrie Brunelle on Wednesday February 10, 2021 at the age of 88 years old.
Carrie was born on June 8th, 1932 in Carrot River, Saskatchewan.
She lived on the prairies until her early 20s when she and her sister Irma decided to head west, settling in Vancouver. Within a year she met Rollie and they married on April 16, 1955.
Carrie worked throughout their marriage but especially enjoyed her work at Vancouver Magazine where she was employed from the early 70’s until her retirement in 1992.
Carrie was predeceased by her devoted husband Rollie, parents Jim and Annie, sister Irma, and brother David. She is survived by son Claude, daughter Sabrina (George), granddaughters Amanda (Ronnie) and Christen (Jordan), and great grandsons Bennett, Jackson, Walter, and Grayson.
We would like to thank the staff of Royal Arch Masonic Home for their tremendous support and quality of care during the 8 1/2 years she resided there.
Due to COVID restrictions a small family gathering and interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Carrie’s name may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
