Edward Kelvir Erson Castator (Ted)

February 24, 1953 - September 30, 2024

After a valiant and hard-fought battle with cancer, Edward Kelvir Erson Castator (Ted) passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Collingwood General Marine Hospital with his loving family by his side. Ted was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ted, of Wasaga Beach, was the best friend and devoted husband of Debbie (née Hutchison) for 41 wonderful years. He was the loving father of Cameron (Krista) and cherished and adoring Poppa to Addison and Aislynn. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Bev, his nephews, nieces, extended family, and dear friends.

Known for his quick wit, humor, hardy laugh, and immense love for his family, Ted was always someone you could count on. He had a remarkable talent for mechanics and building structures and was famous for his delicious tea biscuits, affectionately known as "Teddy Biscuits."

At Ted’s request, cremation has taken place. In memory of Ted, donations to the Hudson Regional Cancer Centre at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario, would be appreciated by the family. Donations can be made directly to The Royal Victoria Hospital of Barrie Foundation.
