CHOSEN, Norma Marlene Chosen - 6-Aug-1937 - 27-Sep-2024

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Norma Marlene Chosen in her 87th year on Friday, September 27, 2024. Surrounded by her loving family, Norma went peacefully into God’s care.

Cherished mother to Carol (Mike), Paul (Late) and Alan (Lori). She was the very proud Gramma to Laura (Brandon), Valerie (Greg) and Sarah. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her and loved her along her journey. She is reunited with the love of her life, her beloved husband Walter (2019).

Norma and Walter loved nothing more than to be with family, usually over a dinner or celebration of some kind. She was proud to have been married to him for 60 years. Norma enjoyed travelling, bowling, sewing, knitting, shopping, baseball, hockey and all things chocolate. She was strong, resilient, courageous, kind, generous, creative, funny and had a heart that was full of love – she was always there for you, no matter what. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

We love you with all our hearts and we miss you every day.

Visitation will be at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Procession will be made to Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Norma will be laid to rest.

Donations may be made in her name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Parkinson Canada. Cards will be available at the Funeral Home or donations may be made online.

Condolences may be offered in the Guestbook at www.mceachniefuneral.ca
