WILKES, Christopher John   -  Passed peacefully on December 30, 2020, at the Toronto Grace Health Center.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Petra, son Robin, daughter-in-law Sarah, and his sister Carol Humphries in Australia who all supported him through his long journey with cancer and Parkinson's Disease.

Chris immigrated to Canada from the UK in 1974, meeting his wife Petra, in 1980.

Chris was an exceptional carpenter, landscape photographer, boat builder and sailor.

Chris and Petra, later joined by Robin, were global adventurers together for many years. They travelled by land and water across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean and Australia.

They lived in big cities and in rural northern Ontario, making many treasured friends along the way.

To all those friends, family, and colleagues, Chris' family would like to thank you for your loving support through this difficult journey.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the family will plan a memorial service once gathering and travel is safe once again.

For those wishing to make a contribution, please consider a donation in his memory to Parkinson Canada, instead of flowers (www.parkinson.ca).
