Anna Cinquina Ciappa
November 20, 1930 - December 28, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Anna Ciappa (née Cinquina) in her 95th year on December 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 20, 1930, in Vasto, Italy, she lived a life filled with faith, love, and selfless devotion to those she held dear.
Devoted and loving mother of Nick (Berta) and Grace (Sam). Cherished Nonna to Giuliano (Emma), Elena, and Francesco. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends in Canada and Italy.
A dedicated mother and wife, Anna poured her heart into her family, offering unconditional love and unwavering support. She was the pillar of strength for her children and grandchildren, and her family was the heart of her world. Her cucina was where her love came to life through her incredible cooking and baking. Every meal and every dolce she prepared was a gift of love, creating moments of connection shared at countless gatherings that she made so special.
Her faith gave her the strength to face life’s challenges with courage. We rejoice in knowing she is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Francesco, and her cherished parents, siblings, and in-laws. While she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace in her eternal home, watching over us with love.
