Louis Citron

April 19, 1949 - March 5, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis Citron, who passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, at the age of 75, surrounded by his loved ones.

Family was Lou’s greatest treasure. He was a devoted father, husband, uncle, brother, grandpa, and friend. He will be dearly missed by his children—Rob (Charity), Elissa (Barry), Jillian (Kevin), and Matt; his grandchildren—Andrew, Cason, Lia, Marcus, James, and Amelia; along with Mary, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. He will be lovingly remembered by his adoring younger sister, Ida.

Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Elisa, and his siblings Jules and Robert. He will also be deeply missed by many friends and extended family members.

Anyone who knew Lou would agree that he left an unforgettable impression. He was such a funny, sweet, and kind man. He leaves behind a legacy of happiness, love, laughter, and dedication to his friends and family. He will forever be in our hearts.

A celebration of life will take place on Friday, April 18th at the Bowmanville Legion from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
