Carolyn Bernadette Clarke
May 2, 1958 - March 15, 2025
CLARKE: Carolyn Bernadette (Readman) passed away peacefully at Thornton View LTC, Oshawa, on March 15, 2025. Carolyn was the cherished daughter of Bernadette (Harrigan) and pre-deceased by her father Calvin Readman. She was the loving mother of Lynn Clarke (Dan McGrath) and a grandmother to Nikole LaChance (Cole Cadena-Desrochers) and Joey LaChance (Hannah Travers). Carolyn was a great-grandmother to Kohen Cadena-Desrochers. She was also a dear sister to Deborah Douglas, Nancy (Michael) Zmijowskyj, David (Laura) Readman, and predeceased by her brother Tim Readman. Carolyn was a loving aunt to many, including David, Katie, Natalie, Michelle, and predeceased by Lisa, Rob, Kyle, Travis, as well as many great nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Brechin, on March 25th, 2025, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be held at a later date at St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery in Brechin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Carolyn may be made by cheque through Mangan Funeral Home to the Brechin Legion Ladies Auxiliary and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
