Robert Mackenzie Clarke
Passed Away on February 13, 2025
In Loving Memory
Robert Mackenzie Clarke passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, with his son at his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his wife Freida Leppanen-Clarke, mother Barbara Clarke, and father Robert Clarke. He is survived by his son Wesley Clarke, sister Colleen Clarke Huntley (Warren), brother Dan Clarke (Catherine, the late Laura), and brother Kevin (Chrissie). Loving uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Bob will be missed by his extended family and close friends.
Bob was a carpenter, pipe fitter, and construction worker, who proudly built his family home. He worked for his family’s business, Toronto Funeral Coach, and was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces militia.
Bob loved to spend time with his family and especially enjoyed Clarke family gatherings like summer barbecues and Christmas parties. Trains and riding the rails were Bob’s favorite hobby and passion.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Schneider, the home care palliative team, and the palliative care unit at Michael Garron Hospital.
A church service and celebration of life will be held in the spring. Details to follow.
He will live on in our hearts forever. We love and miss you, Bob.
