Gary Bruce Conners

1939 – November 24, 2024

Gary Bruce Conners passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, at Gilmore Lodge in Fort Erie, Ontario, at the age of 84. Cherished husband of Norma Shellington-Conners, Gary was a loving father to Colleen Jasnich (David) and Susan Conners (Mike) and a proud grandfather to Kristen and Erin Tubbe, Lucas Jasnich, and Emma Christine.

Gary was a beloved brother to Gail Lawson, Carol Finley, Linda Botbyl (Harry), and Rick Landry (Heather). He was predeceased by his parents, Ken Conners and Ruth Landry; his sister, Sandra Petersen; and his brothers-in-law, Pete Petersen, Ron Finley, and Bob Lawson. Gary will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.

A proud veteran of the Canadian Navy, Gary also had a distinguished career as a police officer and corrections officer. He lived life on his terms — with love, laughter, and no regrets.

The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Thursday, November 28, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Gary’s life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by cremation. Friends and family are invited to the Morse & Son Event Centre for fellowship and shared memories after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. Condolences, photos, and memories may be shared at www.morseandson.com.
