Richard William Cooper

January 2, 1952 - October 26, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard William Cooper on October 26, 2024, at the age of 72, following a courageous battle with cancer. Richard passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by loved ones. Beloved husband to Petra, and devoted father of Sean, Laura, and Saba.

Predeceased by his parents, Bill and Norma Cooper, and his brother, Tom Cooper (Marie). Richard is survived by his dear siblings, Hollie Tuchener (Gary), Pam Neilly (Jim), and Doug Cooper (Karen). He was a cherished uncle and granduncle to many, who will always remember his warmth and kindness.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Michael Garron Hospital Foundation in support of their Oncology Clinic, in Richard’s memory.
