NEAR, Craig Edwin   - Passed away peacefully in the company of loved ones, at Union Villa LTCH, Markham on Thursday, May 26, 2022 in his 85th year.

Loving father of Tracy and Jennifer (Jonathan).

Cherished grandfather of Craig Near (Skylar), Gillian Smith, Emma Smith, Autumn Near, Hailey Vannavong, and Simon Vannavong.

He will be fondly remembered by his daughters' mother Sharon.

Predeceased by his sister Marie Fydenchuk.

He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, Welland on Thursday, June 9, 2022 after 11:30 a.m. where a service to celebrate his life will be held at 1 p.m.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA, or Canadian Cancer Society.
