Virginia “Gina” Curcio
1926 - 2024

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia “Gina” Curcio (nee Esposito), who passed on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario, at the age of 98.

Gina was the beloved wife of the late Mario Curcio, with whom she shared 37 years. She was a loving mother to John and Vincent Curcio, a cherished grandmother to Clarissa (Tony) Veliz, and a proud great-grandmother to Mateo and Marco. She will be remembered by her dear in-laws Frank (Maria) Curcio, Ortenzia Valente (the late Manfredo), Maria Curcio (the late Umberto), Gioconda (Angelo) Trovato, and Betina Curcio (the late Domenico), and predeceased by her parents, Vincenzo and Elizabetta Esposito, her siblings Concettina (Dominic) Sgromo, Angela (Santo) Federico, and Salvatore (Caterina) Esposito, as well as many in-laws and extended family in Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Venezuela, and Argentina.

Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with prayers at 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, London, on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11 a.m., followed by entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery.
