Paul-André Dallaire

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul-André Dallaire, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, at the age of 86, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Sante Manitouwadge Health, surrounded by friends and his grandson Devan.

Paul-André was predeceased by his wife, Jeannette, and his parents Joseph and Imelda Dallaire. He is survived by his children Andrè (late Chantal) and Elise Pelletier (Brian), and his cherished grandchildren Desiree, Matthew, and Devan. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Rosalie and Gabriel.

Born in Lac Saint-Jean, Quebec, Paul-André moved to Moonbeam, Ontario, where he began his life on a farm, later working in various fields including welding and insurance. He worked for Ontario Paper Company in Manitouwadge before founding his own business, Paul Dallaire Welding Ltd., in 1983. His dedication to both his craft and his community was legendary, helping anyone in need, regardless of the project.

Paul-André's family and friends will fondly remember his generous spirit, love of family, and work ethic that transcended all challenges.

Cremation has taken place, and a funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Manitouwadge Municipal Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Manitouwadge Cancer Assistance Group or Sante Manitouwadge Health are appreciated by the family.
