GABONA, Daniel John Gabona - 39 year employee of General Motors Surrounded with love, Danny passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on August 2nd, 2023 at the age of 78 years.
Much loved husband of Pearl (nee Leaitch) for 54 years.
Proud and loving dad of Marilyn & her husband Blaise Robitaille. Adoring Grandpa of Soren and Baba to Orion.
Dear brother to Evelyn Tindall (Lloyd), Sonya Lubbelinkhof (Dick), Betty Peel (Glen), Carol Sargeant (Earl) and Brian Gabona (Kathy).
Danny was predeceased by his parents John & Emma Gabona, sister Hilda Butler and brothers Harvey Gabona and Robert Gabona.
He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Danny’s Life will be held at ST. PAUL’S UNITED CHURCH, 178 Church Street Bowmanville on Saturday August 12th at 11 am, with visitation from 10 – 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church.
