SCHERLING, Daphane Rosemary Scherling - 1923 - 2022
This remarkable 98 year old Veteran lived on her own until her last two days.
She quietly slipped away during the night, as gently as a soft English rain.
The family is indebted to Dr. Schurter, and all of the staff at Oak Ridges Hospice for making her final hours so tranquil.
The procession that Oak Ridges gave to Daphne was beyond expectations, and very touching.
Family, friends, and four-legged felines will miss the presence of this feisty, kind, loveable lady.
Private arrangements have been with Thorne funeral Home, in Cannington.
