BUTCHER, Marion 'Darlene' – (June 20, 1947 - March 10, 2017) - Darlene slipped away peacefully on her own terms.
She left a huge hole in the hearts of many including her husband Garry, her kids Charlene (Rick), Dave (Debbie) and Keith (Kate), her grandkids Jeff, Julian, Brittney, Lexie, Ayden, Seth and Marion (mother Megan) as well as her many brothers and sisters, including her twin sister Marlene.
As a force of nature, Darlene was feisty, sarcastic and full of life. We will all miss her desperately, but we will enjoy sharing stories and laughter at a Celebration of her life which will be held at a future date for family and close friends.
As per her request, if you feel so inclined, Darlene would have appreciated donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
Cremation entrusted to the Ashburnham Funeral Home, Peterborough.
