It is with deep sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Kevin Darowski on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 65.

Beloved husband of 40 years to Pina (Ricci). Cherished father of Katelyn Darowski (Carlos Torres) and Brianne Haskell (Reid). Loving Opa to Marcus, Annalei, Valerie, Watson, and a soon-to-arrive grandchild.

Kevin was a dear brother to Kim Darowski (Lori) and Peter Darowski. He will be greatly missed by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Giovanni Ricci (Miracola), Tony Ricci (Santina), Santina Paoletti (Mario), and Frank Ricci (Lorenzina). Predeceased by his parents Tony Darowski (Susanne Toews) and Gilda Darowski.

A longtime resident of Kingsville and Leamington, Kevin dedicated much of his career to Erie James and Heinz. However, his true passion was spending weekends enjoying a good beer, playing cards, and gathering with family and friends. Known for his competitive spirit, he always welcomed a new game, even if he playfully grumbled about learning the rules.

Kevin’s presence will be deeply missed, but we know he will be waiting with a deck of cards in hand when we meet again.

Family and friends may visit at Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at St. Michael’s Church, beginning at 10:30 a.m., with visitation from 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
