Charles William Deacon

1942 – February 19, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Charles William Deacon of Green Valley on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the age of 83.

Charles was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Beverley Deacon (née Hudson), with whom he shared 58 happy years. He was a proud and loving father to Ron and an adoring grandfather to his cherished grandson, Ryan.

Charles is also survived by his brother-in-law Doug (Sharon), his nephew Kevin (Alexandra), his niece Kim (Cameron), and their respective children. He will also be fondly remembered by his many friends.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Breadalbane Baptist Church, Dalkeith, Ontario.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Hugh Grant and the compassionate staff of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute for the outstanding care they provided to Charles.

For those who wish, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.

A Tree of Remembrance in Charles’ honour will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest, in Vankleek Hill.
