We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dave Devenyi.
He fought a courageous battle in such a short period of time.
Beloved and devoted husband of Alison.
Father of Adam, Eric, Mackenzie and Emma.
Loving son of Ernest and Lorna. Brother of Holly (Perry), Reg, Sue (Glen) & Brian (Jackie). Son-in-law to Winnie. Brother-in-law to Joyce (Terry), David (Evelyn), Michael and Brian. Uncle to Brendan, Korrie, Tyler, Krista, Stephen, Rachel, Mitchell & Emily.
Beloved master of Finnegan. Absolute best friend to many, especially John & Andrew. Dave left a deep imprint on all our hearts. He will be dearly missed. Devoted sports fan and #1 Philadelphia Flyers Fan.
A special thank you to Dr. Woods & Dr. Lui and to those special nurses on the 6th floor at LHO for their hard work.
Thank you to those doctors & nurses in Critical Care that provided such compassionate care.
Thank you to Denise and Aline for helping our daughters during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2 (905-432-8484) on Monday, October 5th, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. on Tuesday October 6, 2015.
In lieu of flowers Donations to support Alison, Mackenzie and Emma would be appreciated.
