MARCUCCI, Dora - Dora Marcucci on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 85.
Reunited with her beloved husband of 65 years Frank (deceased).
Loving mother to Danny (Inda), Peter (Jody) and David (Cathy). Caring grandmother to Adam (Katherine), Matthew (Andrea), Thomas (Natasha), Allison (Chris), Paul (Marilyn), Michael (Jaime) and Stephen. Great-grandmother to Daniel and Edwyn.
She returns to her family in heaven: her parents Italia and Tulio Del Greco, sisters Margaret (Alessandro), Vittoria (Osvaldo), Julie (Franco) and brother Remo (Gloria).
She will be fondly remembered by her many friends, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Auntie Dora will be remembered as the one to bring order among the nieces and nephews at family gatherings.
Small in stature but large in character, Dora was a powerful and determined woman who was devoted, fiercely loyal and loving to family and friends. Dora made every gathering, every meal, every moment, about the people she loved. She never sat down, never stopped moving, and taught us all that there is no such thing as too much food. Growing up in WWII Italy, tomorrow was not a certainty, and she never put off what could be done today, usually before 6:00 a.m.
Her family will never forget her unshakeable strength and resolve; exemplified by her determination (to her last days) to appear impeccable, no matter the situation.
Private funeral arrangements entrusted with Newediuk funeral home. Webcast of the graveside service will begin via the funeral home website at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Interment at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 7300 Hwy. 27, Woodbridge.
