ASH, Douglas Victor - It is with great sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Douglas Victor Ash at his residence in Oshawa on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in his 84 year.
Husband to his beloved wife of 54 years Joan Ash (predeceased).
He will be greatly missed by his children Janie (Scott) MacKay and Doug (Lisa) Ash. Dear Papa to his Grandchildren Steven (Stephanie) MacKay, Mark (Amanda) MacKay and Darien Ash.
Cherished Great Grandfather to Peyton, Taylor, Charlotte, Nolan, Connor and Jackson.
Loving companion of Gail Guillemette.
He will be missed and lovingly remembered by many other extended family members and friends.
Doug will also be remembered for his love of family, travel and the many connections he made with people over the years in real estate. He was an avid golfer, sports lover and fan of the Oshawa Generals.
Visitation will take place at Mount Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday, January 18 , at 10 am with service to follow. Located at 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby, ON. Interment at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY on January 18, 2024, at 11:45 AM - 12:00 PM
Any donations would be greatly appreciated by the family to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lakeridge Health Foundation Cancer Centre.
