Passed Away: December 13, 2024

Sally Anne Douglas (nee Jones) passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, at the age of 69, following a short battle with cancer. Sally was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her smile and laugh lit up any room she entered, and her kind and generous spirit was unmatched.

Sally enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and feeling the sand between her toes at the beach. She was a beautiful soul who would help anyone in need and will live forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Collins, and son-in-law, Tim Collins; her beloved granddaughters, Emily and Ashley Collins; her sister, Connie Krasenko (Nick), and her brother, Brad Jones (Betty). Sally will also be missed by her extended family and many dear friends around the world.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud Jones and Doris Jones (nee Fahrer).

A celebration of Sally’s life will take place at a later date. Special thanks to the LHSC Palliative Care team at Victoria Hospital for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, Sally’s family asks that you honor her memory by spending time with your loved ones and performing random acts of kindness during this holiday season.
