Dudley Christopher Dulling

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dudley Christopher Dulling, on January 17th, 2025, at the age of eighty-six, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
Devoted husband of Fairlyn Dulling for 62 years. Loving father of Petula (late Bob Hsu), Natalie, and the late Dwayne Dulling.
Loving grandfather of Jessica (Anthony), Catherine, Joshua (Deanna), and Tiffany (Ryan).
Loving great-grandfather of Tiana, Marcus, and Zeylan.
Loving brother of Sonia Gomes (Darrell) and Olive Schokman. Survived by his many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
It was a blessing to have him in our lives because he truly knew what it was to give rather than to receive. He lived this every day. His generosity and love knew no bounds for his family, whom he always put first. His dry sense of humour kept us laughing. Dudley loved all types of music and spent countless hours recording songs for others to enjoy. In his youth, he belonged to a skiffle band in England and was often heard changing the lyrics to Christmas songs during church services.
Dudley was a pilot in the Royal Ceylon Airforce and performed jungle rescue missions and training. A strong athlete himself, he loved sports and being active outdoors. He shared this passion with his family, and weekends included fishing, camping, hiking, skating, cottaging, boating, swimming, and picnicking in Ontario.
Dudley has left an immeasurable void, and his memory will always remain imprinted in our hearts. Sing, run, dance, talk, bike, and laugh to your heart’s content, Dudley. Be free.
