MLEKUZ, Michael Robert 'Mike' - (1958 - 2016) - Passed away on July 5, 2016.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Mlekuz, an amazing son, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend.
Mike was a dedicated teacher and coach at Father Leo J. Austin Secondary School in Whitby where he touched the lives of many students and fellow teachers.
Thank you to all those who helped in this incredibly difficult journey.

THAJER, William Frank “Bill” – Passed away peacefully, after a lengthy battle with Cancer, on Tuesday July 5th, 2016 at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie.
William is survived by his wife Jane, children Carol, William Jr. and Douglas.
Predeceased by his daughter Susan. He leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Brother of Moe, Horst, Frank, Marylou Gerrits and their families.
William retired from the management team of General Motors, having enjoyed his career spanning 38 years of service.
Bill treasured spending his days surrounded by his family at their home in Northern Ontario.
The Thajer family welcomes colleagues and friends to come together and share memories of Bill at a Celebration of Life which will be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa) on Wednesday July 13th from 12noon until 3pm.

MORTON, Laverne Diane - Peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 with her family, at the age of 51.
Beloved wife of Robert and loving mother to Antoine, Alexander (Emma), Zachary and Victoria.
Dear grandmother of Olivia Laverne.
Laverne is also sadly missed by her mother, Velma Lindsay as well as her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joan and Lloyd Morton.
Also survived by her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and will be fondly remembered by her many friends.

DRINKWATER, Ivy Kathleen 'Kay' (Fetter) - Kay died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on July 5th, 2016.
In her 99th year, her husband Arthur Drinkwater preceded her in September 1990, after 55 and a half years together.
In recent years, Kay shared her time with her son, Jack Drinkwater (Ute), her daughter, J. Patricia Andersen (Erick), and her daughter, Dianne Fulton (Austin), enjoying the variety of summer in the Muskoka’s, winters in British Columbia and spring and fall in Ashburn.
Kay will be sadly missed by her children and her grandchildren, Kim Thompson, Kerry Johnson (John), Jill Rowe (Graham), Kelly Andersen, who preceded her in 2009, Rick Andersen (Erin), Derrick Andersen (Tracey), Mark Fulton (Karen), Michael Fulton, Michelle Fulton (Tony), Billy Fulton (Katrina). Kay also has 17 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Family and friends are being received for visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby 905-655-3362 on Tuesday July 12th from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. A celebration of Kay’s life will follow in the Barnes Chapel at 11:00 am.
Kay will be laid to rest at Erskine Cemetery, Pickering.

ASLING, Stella - (April 6, 1916 –July 5, 2016) -
Stella Ryall Asling was born in Mariposa Twsp. to Joseph and Clara Ryall.
She was predeceased by 12 siblings and several nieces and nephews.
She married Donald Asling in 1938 and for 74 ½ years they were life partners on the century farm on the 7th Concession of Reach. Together they raised 3 children, Dr. Patricia Asling, Faye (Keith Ashton) and Dr. Jerrold Asling (Joan Clarke).
Stella was the beloved Gramma to Richard (Leslie) Julia (Michael), Robert (Allison), and James Ashton; Ivan Clarke; Jannette (Michael), Jill (Danny), Jennifer (Michael) Asling.
Great-grandgramma to Victoria, Danica, Donavon, Dawson, Hayley, Carter and Noah, Sarah and Charlene, Janell, Clara, Anna, Maeve and Saoirse; great-great-gramma to Lucy and Tiffany. Aunt Stella is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was active in her church and UCW at Epsom United Church. Stella enjoyed babysitting neighbours children, knitting, baking, gardening and preserving.
We extend our thanks to the staff of Bon Air Nursing Home, Cannington for the loving care given her while there for the last 2 ½ years and where she celebrated her 100th birthday.
Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main St. S., Uxbridge, on Friday, July 8th from 7-9 p.m.

WILSON, Deana Janet (nee Villemere) - Passed away peacefully in her 75th year.
Dear mother of son, Regan and his wife Fay and daughter Sherri (Rob). Sister of Coreen Villemere, the late Una Villemere, and the late John Villemere (Adele Winters).
Born in Sudbury and raised at Musselman’s Lake, daughter of the late George Villemere and the late Laura Kay (nee Kightley). Grandmother of Juston (April), Adair, Blair, Morgan (Kelsey), Quinn (Danielle) and Elston.
Great-Grandmother of Isabell, Cason & Rogan. Deana will be missed by her many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Deana’s involvement with the Morgan horse has been a lifelong love as an owner, breeder and exhibitor. Deana was a founding member of the Canadian Morgan Horse Association and the Ontario Morgan Horse Club and was a life member of both organizations.
A Celebration of Deana’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 16th at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge from 2 - 4p.m.

LARABIE, Natalie - April 20, 1960 - July 4, 2016
Heaven has gained a new angel in the passing of Natalie.
After a short battle with Cancer surrounded by her loved ones on the 4th day of July 2016, Natalie's journey on earth ended.
She will be deeply missed by her common law partner James Thompson. Daughters Tracy Augot (Dale), Tammy Larabie (Fern), Rosalind Horvath (Tom), Michelle Larabie (Mike), Lee Larabie (Becca), Olivia and sons Glenn Duff and Tyler.
Loving Grandmother to Kayla, Kurtis, Julian, Teagan, Connor, Joshua, Thomas and expected granddaughter Layla.
Daughter to Frank Romans and Jean Langvein (nee Yarrow) predeceased.
Sister to David (predeceased), Billy (predeceased), Maria, Marion, Linda (predeceased), Frankie, Kevin and Lorraine.
Natalie will also be dearly missed by Imad Daoud, Vana Salibian, Jennifer Hussey, Ira Hussey, Colin McCulloug as well as her life long friends Mad Jackson and Verna Stuckey.
