Pauline was in her 95th year and was the beloved wife of the late Michael Petrowsky.
Loved mother of Tina Moffatt, Lucy Carter & her husband Leon and Walter Petrowsky & his wife April.
Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Mike & his wife Mei, Christina Incledon, John & his wife Brenna, Alex and Matthew & Jenny. Survived by her great grandchildren Niah, Clara, Eden & Andrew.
Resting at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday December 21st at 2pm.
Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery.
Visitation on Sunday December 20th from 11am to 2pm Panachayda will be on Sunday at 1pm.

GEER, Ilene Joan (nee: Bartley) - Passed away peacefully in her 81st year with family by her side on Thursday, December 17, 2015.
Loving wife to Bert and caring Mom to Kelli and Mark (Annalisa). Proud grammy to Brendan, Kyle, Tyler and Maxwell.
Ilene will be fondly remembered by her brothers Ken and Merl and sisters Glenda and Lois. Predeceased by her brothers Lawrence and Gord, and mother Ida Starr.
A very special thank you to Dr. Jennifer Wilson and the nurses at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital for their wonderful care.
A private family burial will be held on Monday, December 21st. A Promotion to Glory Celebration will be held at Uxbridge Baptist Church, 231 Brock Street West on Tuesday, December 22nd at 2p.m. with visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. until service time.

After a lengthy illness, gone to be with his Lord and Saviour, on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Winbourne Park, Ajax. John, at the age of 71, best friend and husband of Marlene for 46 years.
Loving father of Glenn Waters (Alana McDonald) and Scott Waters and his wife Carolynne.
Devoted grandpa to Madison, Luke and Seth. Will be lovingly remembered by his sister Jean Waters.

PITTENS, Marianne Carol (nee Bennett) - December 11, 1948 – December 17, 2015
After a hard-fought battle with breast cancer, Marianne Pittens left us just six days after her 67th birthday.
She joins her loving husband of 42 years, Bill Pittens (2011).
She was a cherished mother to Chris and his wife Joyce, Paula and her husband Bryan, and Charlene and her husband John.
Cherished ‘Mama’ to her grandchildren Felicia, Kassie, Taylor, Christina, Emily and Marissa; her great-grandchildren Mason, Madison and Rayden; and her step-grandchildren Sarah, Vanessa and Jordan.
She also leaves behind her brother Austin. She was pre-deceased by her parents Mae and Harry, her sister Mildred, and her brothers Ray and Bill. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marianne also leaves behind her cherished four-legged companions, Lucy, Becky and Snowflake.
Marianne retired after many years in the retail industry, but put her skills to good use by volunteering in the gift shops at Hillsdale Estates, Hillsdale Terraces and Lakeridge Health-Oshawa. She could always be seen with a smile on her face for all of the patients and residents.
Marianne’s family would like to say thank you to all of their friends and neighbours for all of their support and comfort over the past several months. Special thanks to Wayne and Carolyne Murray, for their love and support. Marianne’s family would also like to thank all of the nurses, and staff of Lakeridge Health Palliative Care, and the Durham CCAC for all of their tender care and support over the past few weeks.
Visitation will take place at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby (905-655-3662) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. A funeral service celebrating Marianne’s life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.

MAJOR, Janet (nee Visser) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the age of 53.
Daughter of Herb Visser and the late Catherine.
Loving mother of Nathan and Melanie.
She will be sadly missed by her siblings: David (Ramona) and Alice (Mike), ex-husband and friend Robert, as well as many nephews, nieces, friends and co-workers, in particular, Chris, Elaine, Michelle and Joan.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a Celebration of Life at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd. (corner of Taylor Creek Dr.), Orléans on Sunday, December 20th from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Heritage chapel at 12 p.m.
