SAWLER, Aubrey Henry Sawler  - It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Aubrey on October 24, 2018 at the age of 75.

Dedicated husband to Judy (Swan) for 57 years.

Loving dad to daughters Debbie (Stephen Code) and Krista (Terry Witherspoon).

Devoted Papa to Joshua & Cory and Madison & Mikayla.

Dear brother of Joan (Grant Brumm-deceased), brother-in-law of Richard Swan (deceased), his wife Marilyn, and Rayne Swan. Nephew of Muriel and George. Special uncle to David, Donnie, Andrew and David and great-uncle to Stephen, Kaitlin, Kristopher, and Alex. Predeceased by infant daughter Teri Lee, his parents Aubrey and Kathleen, and in-laws Jim and Mina Swan.

Aubrey was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1943 and came to Ontario in 1963 to work at General Motors, where he was a dedicated employee for 34 years.

He had a passion for vintage cars, spaghetti westerns, war movies, stock car races, and tractor pulls. He was a devoted family man and friend to many. He was happiest spending his summers at Brule Point, Nova Scotia in the company of extended family and special life-long friends.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday October 29, 2018 from 4-7pm at Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville). Funeral service to be held on Tuesday October 30, 2018 at 11:00 am at Trinity United Church (116 Church Street, Bowmanville) with visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bowmanville Rotary Club, Trinity United Church or the Lockerby Cemetery Fund in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia would be greatly appreciated.
