In Loving Memory Of Earnest Wordsworth Eccleston, age 81, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was born January 11, 1944 in Jackson Town, Trelawny, Jamaica, to Roland and Constance Eccleston.

Earnest was a loving and caring husband and father who took great pride in the well-being of those he cared for. A skilled carpenter and contractor by trade, he was devoted to his work and known for his craftsmanship.

Many friends and family admired him for his “cool ruler” approach to life. Quiet and reserved in demeanor, he also had a warm laugh and enjoyed good company when conversations got going.

Beloved husband for 50 years to his late wife Ivy Eccleston. Loving father of Worsworth, Caswell, Diana, Paul, Paula, Charmaine, Paul, Donna (Ray), Patricia (Ricardo), Andrea, Barrington (Verona), Everton, and Sean (Kalli-ann). Proud grandfather of 32 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 31 great-grandchildren.

Cherished brother of Luke and Neville (Jannis), and predeceased by brothers Basil and Melton Eccleston. Loved and cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins across Canada, Jamaica, England, and the United States.
