1929-2023
Elaine Rafelman passed away peacefully on November 7.
Daughter of the late Faye and Louis Mendelson; wife of the late Donald Rafelman; mother of Marcia Rafelman and Ian Akiyama, Debbi and Arthur Stern.
Grandmother to Jana and Moishe, Michael and Nicole, Lani and Samantha, Adam and Hilary, Jordan and Cori, Mitchell and Maria, and Matthew and Inga, and her seven great-grandchildren.
She will be sorely missed by her sister, Carol and Lionel Schipper; and all their children and grandchildren.
Elaine and Don had a blessed life, spending winters in Palm Springs and summers at their cottage on Lake Simcoe.
They loved to travel and both had an insatiable passion for collecting art.
The family would like to thank Lanie and Liezyl for their kindness and dedication during these difficult times.
Private Family Service will be held. Shiva to be held at 99 Avenue Road #701, Toronto.
