ELY, Kathleen - 72, Kathleen Ely of Whitby, Ontario, formerly of Unionville and Markham.
Passed peacefully on Sept. 30th 2015, at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto after a quick but courageous battle.
Kay was a wife, mother and grandmother as well as a registered nurse spending most of her career nursing and teaching at Scarborough General Hospital.
Survivors include her beloved husband Paul and their two children, Pauline and Kevin.
Kay also leaves 3 beautiful grandchildren that will love her forever as “Nana”.
Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 91 Ribblesdale Dr, Whitby on Monday Oct. 5th at 10:30am to be followed with a memorial gathering in the church hall.
