Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the age of 77 years.
Beloved husband of Sonya (née Bogosian), his wife of 53 years. Loving father to Michael (Jennifer), Phillip (Elizabeth), and Christopher (Sabrina).
Proud grandfather of Emma, Olivia, Hailey, Whitney, Reid, and Evan.
Dear brother to Hovsep “Joe” and Claire Erchenian, and Marie and Mike Steplock.
Minas will be fondly remembered and forever loved by his in-laws, Paul and Hélène Bogosian, Alice Bogosian and Bill Sloane, Debra Bogosian,
as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Minas retired from Ford Motor Company after 33 years of dedicated service to devote more time to his family and the many hobbies he enjoyed.
He turned his experience with cars and love for woodworking into a second job at The Home Depot, but still made time to golf, fish, and travel.
His favorite moments were spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, and with friends at the Armenian Community Centre. His presence will be deeply missed.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road), Stoney Creek
(905-664-4222), on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 6-9 p.m.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Eastlawn Cemetery in Hamilton.
