Floyd Evans

November 12, 1934 ~ January 7, 2025 (age 90)

Floyd Evans passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Uxbridge Hospital on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the age of 90 years. Cherished husband of 68 years to Grace (nee Simpson). Floyd will be lovingly remembered by his children: Ronald (Ruth), Robert (Mary), Catherine Mouflier (Richard), Garry (Debbie), and Murray. He was a beloved grandfather to Adam (Kendra), Aaron (Esther), Teena (Tyler), Scott (Christina), Evan, Jeffrey, Melanie (Reuben), Nicholas (Ashley), Jaired, Karissa, and Danielle, and a great-grandfather to Norah, Silas, Watson, Bethany, Cole, Cameron, Austin, Chase, and Evelyn.

Predeceased by his parents, Wilfrid and Gladys Evans, and his siblings Laurence, Ross, Mildred, David, and Doreen. Survived by his sister, Doris Hockley.

Floyd was a strong man with a big heart. Born and raised on a dairy farm, farming was his chosen profession. He was deeply involved in his Church and community. Upon retiring, he discovered a passion for carpentry, crafting many cherished items for family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge, on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A private family funeral service will be held.
