Adelaide Facca

August 28, 1931 – April 1, 2025

Born in Moncalvo (Asti), Italy on August 28, 1931, Adelaide Facca passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on April 1, 2025 at the age of 93.

Adelaide was the oldest of nine siblings and the dear wife of her late husband Umberto. She was a caring and devoted mother to Attilio (Karen), Luigi (Sylvia), Rosalie “Rosaria” (Scott), Cathy “Caterina” (Doug), Mary “Maria Luisa” (Mike), and Mike “Michiele.”

A proud Nonna to her grandchildren Daniel (Jenna and Anna), Dylan (Kaylie), Alison (Kristopher), Courtney, Niko, Madison (Luke), Kristen, Marshall, Emma, and great-grandson Theodore.

Adelaide had a passion for travel, a natural talent for growing plants, and was happiest when sharing her culinary delights with family and friends. She will be forever remembered in the hearts of many.

A special thanks to Dr. Mulé and staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Northumberland Hills Hospital, the team at Golden Plough Lodge, in-house nurse Goldie, PSW Krista, and homecare coordinator Rebecca for their compassionate care.
