ARMSTRONG, Paul W. - Of Chatsworth, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2015 at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale, at age 88, with family by his side.
Paul has gone home to be with his wife, Margaret Armstrong (Fortier) and his Lord.
He is survived by his four loving children: Sandra Muzzell (Albert) of Chatsworth, Cindy Moore (Pat) of Chatsworth, Angela Coll (Patrick) of Mount Forest and son, Paul Armstrong (Ivy) of Barrie. Papa will be lovingly remembered and missed by 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Paul is survived by one sibling, Helen Merkley of Winchester.
Paul loved travelling and camping, wintering in Arizona and summers home in Ontario. On the Road Again was his motto. An avid sportsman, he also enjoyed fishing, baseball and played co-ed volleyball until he was 75. Paul was also a proud veteran; at only 17, he joined the Royal Canadian Regiment near wars end in 1945.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at the Church of Nazarene, Owen Sound, on Monday, September 28th, at 1:00 P.M. One hour prior to the Memorial Service, at 12:00 noon, Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 will hold its Service.
If desired donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale Hospital.

A Graveside Service for Florence Bravener will be held in Tara, on Monday, September 28th with Rev. Claire Miller officiating. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Memorial Service at the gravesite at 10:30 a.m.
