It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Featherstone. Bill passed peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on March 27, 2025 at the age of 90.

Bill was born in Middlesborough, UK on July 26th, 1934, and moved to Portsmouth, UK at the age of 5. Then in 1969 he immigrated to Canada with his wife Patricia, daughters Susan and Julie and son Darryn.

Following a long career working for General Motors in Oshawa, ON, Bill retired to their small hobby farm in Garden Hill, ON and lived there until 2019 when he moved to Regency Manor Long Term Care home in Port Hope, ON.

Bill is predeceased by his wife Patricia of 68 years and grandson Mathew and survived by his children, Susan, Julie and Darryn, 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Bill’s family sincerely appreciates the care and compassion shown by the staff of Regency Manor and Northumberland Hills Hospital during his time in their care.
