Mario Felici

March 3, 1937 – December 5, 2024

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mario Felici on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at home at the age of 87. Born on March 3, 1937, in Rome, Lazio, Italy, Mario was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mario leaves behind his devoted wife of 60 years, Angela, and his loving daughters Nadia (Dino) and Claudia (Dan). He was a proud Nonno to Lucas (Carly), Michael, Julia, and Jessica. He is also survived by his sister Maria Pia (late Amador) and brother Angelo (Elena). Mario was predeceased by his brothers Antonio, Claudio, and Augusto, and his sister Elide.

Mario will be remembered as a gentle and loving man, an example of kindness, selflessness, and strength. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews and a beloved member of his family and community.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 2:00–4:00 pm and 6:00–8:00 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, ON. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 10:30 am in the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON, in the Holy Family Mausoleum.

In honour of Mario, donations may be made to Parkinson’s Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
