Woman in blue shirt hugging treeFERGUSON, Sheila Kim Ferguson -
JANUARY 2, 1961 – JULY 24, 2024

Born on January 2, 1961, in Hamilton, Scotland, moved to Canada with her family as a young girl.

She leaves behind a loving family and a wide circle of friends, including her beloved husband John, her three children Stephanie, Andrea, and Ian, her brother Neil, her mother Patricia, her son-in-law Joe, and her daughter-in-law Larissa.

Fondly nicknamed "Bubbles" in her childhood, Sheila had an infectious zest for life and a willingness to embrace every adventure.

She delighted in traveling with her family, capturing memories through photos and videos, and cuddling with her cherished cats, Bo and Sox.

Her laughter was contagious, and her smile was a beacon of warmth and joy. Sheila was deeply loved by her community of friends and colleagues.

She worked as a dedicated teacher’s assistant and shared her passion for crochet by creating a club to teach young children. Her handmade creations were always made with love, often gifted to those she cared about.

An avid correspondent, Sheila could always provide an update or a fact about the people around her.

Her love for writing letters evolved into emails, keeping her connected with loved ones. After multiple battles with cancer, Sheila passed away peacefully in her sleep.

She will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched. To honor her vibrant personality and love of bright colours, we invite everyone to celebrate her life by adding colours to their outfit!
