Alice Anita Joann Fice

Passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, surrounded by family at Hastings Centennial Manor LTC, Bancroft. Alice, in her 89th year, was predeceased by her beloved husband Morley in 1981.

Beloved mother of Tom Fice (Judy), Alice Patterson (Jeff), Marion Grendel (Dave), Doris McKay (Glenn), Anita Fice (Gary), and Joel Fice (Angie). Proud grandmother to 16 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 20 great-grandchildren.

Dear sister of Harold Hart and Tom Hart (Gail).

Alice was a devoted mother who loved cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. She cherished visiting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always ensuring special family gatherings with themed meals and treats. She enjoyed crocheting, singing, dancing, crafts, playing the piano, puzzles, gardening, and board games. Alice was also a dedicated caregiver to her husband, parents, and others in need. In her later years, she especially appreciated the Recreation Program at her long-term care home.

Alice will be lovingly remembered by her family, extended family, and friends for her beautiful blue eyes, joy-filled smile, and her infectious, recognizable laugh.

Funeral Service Details:

Visitation: Thursday, February 27th, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, Ontario.
Funeral Service: Friday, February 28th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Jake Pothaar.
Interment: Mt. Lawn Memorial Gardens, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, Ontario.

Donations in memory of Alice Anita Joann Fice to The Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Mental Health Association, or The Salvation Army - Oshawa would be appreciated by the family.
