Church Sgt FitzroyCHURCH, Sgt. Fitzroy Fitzgerald, aka "Black Church" -

(February 24, 1934 - November 27, 2015)

Legendary motorcycle police officer, of Grenada, served 18 years on the force, before emigrating to Canada with his family in 1970.

Fitzroy peacefully and quietly slipped out of this life on Friday November 27th, 2015.

He leaves to mourn Cynthia, his beloved wife of 60 years, daughters Brenda (Ken), Teckla (Wendell) and Debra (Cedo - deceased).

He was the brother of Alfred (deceased) Joyce, Sam, Alexis, Hayes, Winston, Stephen, Errol, Jerry, Crafton, Gemma, and Adrian.

He will be fondly remembered by his grandsons Tyler and Jaz, and his many nieces, nephews, cousins (Celestine, Theodore, Hobson, Whiteman and Telesford families), aunts (Cora, Helen, Norma) extended family and dear friends.

Visitation at McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON, on Thursday, December 3rd, from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM 

Funeral Service will be held at  St. George's Anglican Church, 77 Randall Dr, Ajax on Friday, December 4th at 2:00 PM.
