She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, including Terry McGill (née Firth) and her husband Derrick; Tyler and Jernay Tremble and family; Hayley Tremble and family; and the late Todd Tremble; as well as Barry Fletcher of Florida and family. Audrey’s memory will also be fondly cherished by her many great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Audrey dedicated over 30 years to General Motors and was known for her love of human connection. She hosted countless card nights and gatherings filled with joy and laughter. She found peace in life’s simple pleasures, from the warmth of the Florida sun to summers at her trailers in Orono and Picton. She cherished her community, friendships, and the art of making holidays extra special with beautifully wrapped gifts.
A heartfelt thank you to Cheryl and the caring staff at Extendicare Port Hope for their compassionate care in Audrey’s final years.
At Audrey’s request, no visitation or funeral will be held. Cremation has taken place, and she will be interred at Bowmanville Cemetery alongside her family and Doug. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Memory Loss Foundation.
