Nina Belva Floyd

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nina Belva Floyd announces her passing on October 22, 2024, at the age of 82. Nina was the cherished wife of George Rueger for over 30 years. Loving mother of Victoria (late Dwayne) Cable and Jason Floyd. Proud grandmother of Alexandra (Damon) O’Connor and Liam Robinson (Ryanne Murphey).

Nina was also a beloved step-mother to Daniel (Janice) Rueger, Terry Rueger (Yanzhi Hu), and Wendy Rueger (Benjamin Cole), and a step-grandmother to Jennifer (Shane) Major and their daughter Roxy, Cynthia (Brian) Denton, Jessica Rueger, Stephanie (Adam) Bilyea and their daughter Jaina, Jodi Rueger (Sean VanHatten), Parker Rueger, Madison Welke, and Autumn Welke.

Predeceased by her parents Belva (née Winter) and Clifford Hillis, Nina will be dearly missed by her extended family, friends, and the communities of Watford, Warwick Conservation Area, and her beloved campground puppies.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28th, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. at Denning's of Watford. Interment will follow at Wyoming Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Watford United Church or the Sarnia-Lambton Humane Society.
