COX, Paul Robin Cox  -  Passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 3rd, 2024, at the age of 62.

Loving father of Steven, Sean (Sylvia) and grandfather to Helios.

Dear Brother of Bill (Shirley), Sherry (Bob) and late Gregory.

Predeceased by his parents Douglas Harold Cox and Shirley Aileen Lucille Robbins Cox Paul will be fondly missed and remembered by his extended family, his brother and sister-in-law’s his nieces and nephews, cousins and his many friends.

Paul liked cooking extravagant meals for his loved ones, watching hockey and keeping things in order.

He would spare no expense for his children.

In his later years Paul enjoyed being a grandparent and taking care of his grandchild Helios.

Paul had a twinkle in his eye and a spring in his step knowing that his family would continue for another generation. No one made cupcakes and grilled cheese like grandpa.

As per Paul’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service, and cremation has taken place.

Jaworski IreneJAWORSKI, Irene  -
February 9, 1951 December 19, 2023


It is with the heaviest of hearts the family of Irene (Orysia) Jaworski nee Rudyk announce her passing on Tuesday December 19th, 2023 at home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Irene leaves behind her loving husband, of 42 years, Ron. Proud mother of her son Danylo and his wife Michelle and her cherished granddaughter Katharine.

 

Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Katharine Rudyk, and brothers Bud and Taras.

 

Irene will be lovingly remembered by her family both here and in Ukraine, friends, and members of her parishes.
Irene enjoyed her career at the Canadian Telephone Employees Association making many life- long friends and reaching the office of Vice President.

 

Irene was a devoted member of St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (Oshawa) and St. Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (Oakville). She enjoyed volunteering on many committees at the church and LVIV hall including the elevator replacement project, Trivia Night Fundraising Events, and Children’s Camps (Break for Jesus).

 

These were just a few amongst the many causes she volunteered her time and professionalism to, endeavouring to support the church and surrounding communities.

Please join with the family at  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa for Visitation on Friday December 22nd from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. Panachyda will be held at 7pm.

 

Funeral Services will be held St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church, 597 Albert Street, Oshawa on Saturday December 23rd at 10am.

 

Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery, Courtice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be greatly appreciated by the family and can be made to any of the following charities:
