The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Hedwig Parish, 411 Olive Avenue, Oshawa, ON, followed by the burial at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 355 Taunton Road East, Whitby, ON.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Audie Joseph Arthur Murphy on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, to Delphis and Emma Murphy (Godin) on May 18, 1953, Audie recently began his well-deserved retirement after a 30-year career as a roofer with the Toronto District School Board.
Audie was the loving father of Cameron (Leanne) and Nicole (Allan), and a cherished brother to Lloyd (Joanne). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Lucas, Lilah, Lane, Ariana, and Gabriela. Audie is lovingly remembered by his nieces, Margie (Vince) and Michelle (Scott), and as a great-uncle to Noah, Isla, Henry, and Archie. He is predeceased by his parents, Delphis and Emma, and his brother, Ronald.
Audie will be remembered for being the proudest and most loving grandfather, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, Ontario, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available by clicking here just prior to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Ronald Francis Botell
July 1, 1934 – October 28, 2024
We are deeply grateful to have shared in the life of Ronald Francis Botell, affectionately known as Ron, who passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, at the age of 90. Ron was the beloved husband and best friend of Ann for almost 70 wonderful years. Together, they built a family foundation of love, friendship, and faith that will endure forever.
Ron was a devoted father to Terry and Tim, Greg, Mark and Libby, and Barbara (known lovingly as Cheech). He was the cherished "Pappy" to his grandchildren, Adam and Fiona, Matthew, Meaghan, Samantha, Kayleigh, Daniel, Jennifer, Devon, and his namesake Ronni, and a proud great-grandfather to Gabriel, Vivianna, Marigold, Ezekial, and the soon-to-arrive "Baby P." His sister, Joanne Binns, and his furry grand-pets, Barney, Eli, and Faith, were also dear to his heart.
Ron had a passion for sports, especially hockey and baseball, and he remained hopeful for a Leafs Stanley Cup win from above. Known for his love of conversation, he enjoyed connecting with family and friends over the years, cherishing every moment.

Thomas Edward Austin MacMurdo "Austin"
April 9, 1952 - October 25, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas "Austin" MacMurdo on October 25, 2024. Austin passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with leukemia, surrounded by the love of his family and the exceptional care of Princess Margaret Hospital staff.
Born to Hazel and Ralph MacMurdo, Austin leaves behind his beloved wife Sandra, his children Meghan (Dereck), Tommy, and Laura (Doug), and his cherished grandchildren Keegan, Mackenzie, and Ivan. Austin will be fondly remembered for his warmth, generosity, and humor.
A devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, Austin shared his love of sports and activities with his family and took great pride in participating in four Ironman Triathlons. His many interests included camping, gardening, and golf with friends. Known as a handyman, he found joy in taking care of his home and spending time outdoors.
Austin enjoyed a long and rewarding career at St. Marys Cement in Bowmanville, leaving behind many friends and colleagues.
A celebration of Austin's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor his memory may consider donating blood or making a donation to Canadian Blood Services or Princess Margaret Hospital.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Natale Osso on Friday, September 20 at the age of 91. He left us peacefully, surrounded by his family.Natale lived his life with an unwavering commitment to his family, a remarkable work ethic, and took pleasure in the simple things in life, especially his garden and a good meal and glass of wine shared with family. He was fiercely proud of his Calabrese heritage and his adopted home in Canada. He will be missed and loved always by his wife of 58 years Emma, his children Lisa/Elizabeth (Rick), Elena, and Francesco (Rebecca). Beloved Nonno to his much-loved and adored grandchildren, Chloe, Sofia, Liam and Kiara. He was so very proud of his family and found joy and pride in their lives, accomplishments and the people they became.He was a cherished brother and brother-in-law both here in Canada and in Italy (Calabria, P di Cosenza). Dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews, friend to many near and far.
