Jessica Alexander

May 15, 1987 – December 2, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jessica Alexander, who left us on Monday, December 2nd, 2024, after a brief battle with pneumonia. Her loving partner, Jason, was by her side as she departed.

Born on May 15, 1987, Jessica brought immense joy and laughter into the lives of everyone she met. She was a cherished daughter, sister, niece, friend, and the best aunt, known for her quick wit, incredible generosity, and boundless love for her nieces and nephews.

Jessica's spirit will live on through her partner Jason and her beloved Yorkie, Pfeiffer. She is also survived by her sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. We take solace in knowing that her mother welcomed her with open arms in her final moments.

A celebration of Jessica's life will be held in Timmins, Ontario, in May 2025, where her family will honor her memory by laying her to rest alongside her mother.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage everyone to perform a random act of kindness in honor of Jessica’s compassionate spirit—or attend a Bingo game in her memory. She’ll be there cheering you on.

Man in suit with white boutonniere outdoors.Leo Mascioli
March 31, 1952 - October 14, 2024

With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of our dear Leo at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on October 14th, 2024. Gone too soon, we will always hold close the memories of an exceptional pianist, a sports aficionado, and a loyal and generous man. Leo was happiest when surrounded by his family.

To those Leo loved, he was generous to a fault, kind to a fault, and forgiving to a fault. His loyalty and kindness were rare, and his devotion was unwavering. While he could be gruff at times, the cards he gave his loved ones revealed a soft and sentimental man.

Leo is survived by his sons Matthew (Shannon) and Adam, his wife Carolyn, his mother Anne Mascioli, and his siblings Danny (Shirley), Paula (Enzo), and Carla (Jack). He is predeceased by his father, Dan Mascioli.

The family will welcome friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Road, North Bay, Ont., on October 21st. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a service at 1 p.m. on site.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcome in Leo’s memory to Operation Smile or the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation.
