It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Doris Puschel on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Stig Puschel, whom she missed deeply since his passing in 2018.
Donna was also predeceased by her parents, Robert and Margaret Carmont (née Eagles), brother Robert, and sister Evelyn. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Gloria and Carolyn, and her brothers Hal (Sonnia) and John (Paula). Donna will be deeply missed by her nephews, Paul (Annette) Gomirato and Greg (Lisa) Gomirato, and great-nieces and nephews Adele, Aaron, Bradley, and Erica. Her extended family in Southern Ontario and British Columbia, as well as many special friends far and wide, will cherish her memory.
Donna was a talented gourmet chef known for hosting unforgettable evenings filled with delicious food, fine wine, and laughter. Her great sense of humor and gracious hospitality left a lasting impression on everyone who shared time with her. She also found joy in gardening and took pride in her outdoor spaces.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Mirka, the staff at Health Sciences North, and the caregivers at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre for their compassion and support during Donna’s final hours.
Cremation services have been provided by Lougheed Funeral Home. A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at a later date. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Leonard "Len" Tessier, at the age of 87, at his residence on Monday, November 18, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Len was the beloved husband and best friend of 63 years to Doreen "Dody" Tessier (née Lanktree). A devoted and proud father to Cheryl Lipic (Rob) and Cathy Natale, he was also a cherished grandfather to Michael Thompson, Megan Sloan (Cory), Curtis Natale (Sarah), and Emily Natale (Jesse), and a loving great-grandfather to Lola, Hannah, Emma, James, and Ellie. Len was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Marie Jeanne Tessier (née Pauze), and his brother Gerald Tessier. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and colleagues.
Len’s remarkable work ethic and dedication to his craft inspired everyone who knew him. Even after his retirement at 65, he continued to work with the same passion, integrity, and expertise until his final year. He was known for his immaculate yard, pristine vehicles, and his ability to fix anything, much to his wife’s amusement. Above all, his devotion to his family surpassed all else.
Born on January 6, 1937, in Garson, Ontario, Len’s life was marked by his deep love for his wife, Dody. Their 63-year marriage was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Len found joy in the chaos of family life, raising his daughters, and sharing quiet moments in his yard watching birds and chipmunks with his beloved dog, Jasper.

In loving memory of Adelard “Addy” St. Martin, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the age of 82, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.
Addy is survived by his two sons, Francis (Emily) and James (Lori), as well as his cherished grandsons, Curtis and Max, and his great-grandson Eli. Predeceased by his parents, Arsidas and Lebea St. Martin (née Leroux), he was a beloved brother to Armand “Joe” (Denise), Edgar (Jacqueline), Aime “Al” (Doreen), Donald, Claudette (Bill Rivers), Ronald, and Denise, all predeceased. He will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and his close friend Art Chevrier (Laurette predeceased) and family.
Addy dedicated 36 years to Canada Post, including 34 years as a postman in Gatchell, where he built lasting relationships with the community he served. His kindness and work ethic left a lasting legacy.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine Helen Gentile on November 15, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on September 12, 1945, in Sudbury, Ontario, Jeannine was a kind-hearted and loving individual who devoted her life to her family and community.
Jeannine shared 54 wonderful years with her beloved husband, Peter Gurino Gentile. Together, they built a family rooted in love and support. She will be remembered as a compassionate and caring person who brought comfort to all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Peter Gentile, Chantale Gentile, and Michelle Gentile, as well as her son-in-law Tim Major. Jeannine was a cherished grandmother to Kassandra Major (Trey Suvoltos-Pierre), Jessica Major (Kyle Fram), Christopher Gentile, Karissa Major, and Vanessa Major, and great-grandmother to Kianna and James Fram. She is predeceased by her grandson Tristen Major and her brother Alphonse Perreault, and will be fondly remembered by her nephews Brent and Brian Perreault.

Lorraine was the beloved wife of Gordon Bruce, who predeceased her in 2010. She was a devoted mother to Veryl Potvin (Ron), Allan (Carol, predeceased), Debbie Weiler (Bill), Myles, and Glenn (Raija). A proud grandmother, she cherished her 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Born to the late Napoleon and Alexandrine Thibault, Lorraine was the dear sister of Dorothy Racicot and was predeceased by her siblings Lillian, Theresa, Robert, Jeannette, Lucy, Ronald, Lucien, and Leo. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, including many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was known for her kindness, resilience, and love for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of William Daniel Lee, known fondly as Dan Lee, on November 12, 2024, at the age of 80.
Born to John and Margaret Lee on August 25, 1944, in Parry Sound, Ontario, Dan dedicated his life to service, community, and family. A career police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police, Dan retired as a Sergeant after 31 years of exemplary service. His postings took him from Geraldton to Japan, to Upsala, and finally to Sudbury.
While stationed in Japan for Expo '70, Dan met the love of his life, Susan, who was representing New Zealand at the New Zealand Pavilion. After a whirlwind romance and marriage in New Zealand, Dan and Susan settled in Sudbury, where they raised their children, Catherine and Timothy. Dan was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, whose family was his pride and joy.
Dan’s contributions extended far beyond his career. A graduate of Laurentian University (1987), Dan earned numerous accolades, including the OPP Commissioner’s Citation (1994), awards from the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, and civic awards from the City of Greater Sudbury. He was inducted into the Sudbury Sports Hall of Fame in 2019 and received the YMCA Canada Peace Medal in 2007 for his outstanding community work.
He was instrumental in numerous initiatives, including co-founding Operation Red Nose and the Bridge of Nations, co-chairing the Ontario Summer Games (2010), and playing a significant role in the Special Olympics’ National Summer Games. As a community leader, Dan was involved with the Salvation Army, Sudbury Sports Council, and Holy Redeemer Church, among many other organizations. He remained actively engaged in community activities until his passing.
Dan is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; his daughter, Catherine (Dan); his son, Timothy (Candace); and his cherished grandchildren, Joshua and Emily. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret, and his sister, Rosemary (Joe) Warren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, ON. Dan’s dedication and impact on those around him will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
In loving memory of Elaine Marjorie Nadon (née Prairie), aged 90 years, who passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care, Clarion Site, Sudbury. Elaine was the beloved wife of André Nadon (predeceased) and a devoted mother and grandmother.
She leaves behind her loving children Lori May of Victoria, BC; Wayne Janiski of Delta, BC; Richard Janiski (Cathy Gill) of Sudbury, ON; and Curtis Golomb (Andrea Ritchie) of Canmore, AB. Cherished grandmother of Nathan Goulet (predeceased), Devon Janiski, Cody Janiski, Ambrose Golomb, and Sabrina Golomb, and great-grandmother to Colton, Bowen, and Lexy. Elaine was the dear daughter of Albert and Ellen (née Flatt) Prairie, both predeceased.
Elaine was a strong-willed and independent woman who was deeply supported by her group of friends in Capreol, fondly known as “The Steel Magnolias.” She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and the Catholic Women’s League of Our Lady of Peace Parish. Elaine will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Church, Capreol, on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Friends are welcome at the church from 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place, with entombment to follow at Capreol Cemetery.

Dorian passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on Sunday, October 20th, 2024. He was the dear son of Lyla Mandamin-Trudeau and the late Timothy Trudeau. Treasured brother of Caleb Trudeau and Gina Trudeau (Levy), and a special uncle to Avery, Shawnee, and Wild. Dorian will be deeply missed by his aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Dorian worked as an arborist in Toronto, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. He loved painting and creating artwork, and in his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games. Dorian also shared a love for music, rapping with his brother Caleb and singing karaoke with his mother and brother.
Friends may gather at the South Bay Community Centre after 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 24th, 2024. A Sharing Circle will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Feast at the South Bay Community Centre. Cremation will be held at Park Lawn Crematorium.
