It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest Mother and Nan, Irene Mildred Cantwell. At age 80, on All Saints Day, November 1, 2024, Irene passed peacefully in her sleep.
Irene was born on December 26, 1943, in Egremont Township. She moved to Toronto at age 10, a city she adored. In 1996, she moved to her cottage in Brock, where she thrived as the cherished matriarch of her family. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Jim, and her siblings, Mable, Margorie, Olive, Frank, Jim, Edward, Munroe, and Bessie. She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Janine (Rob), Karie (Joe), and Tara (Dave), and her treasured grandchildren, Brayden, Tayler, Cassandra, Jaime, Sydney, and Anthony, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Known for her sophisticated style and quick wit, Irene was a social butterfly, avid reader, and lover of the arts. Her final days were spent enjoying dinners, shopping, and time with her friends. She will be remembered for her warmth, love, and daring personality, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Mary "Marni" White, who passed away peacefully at Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia on October 31, 2024. Marni was predeceased by her beloved husband, David White (1989). She leaves behind her loving children, Angela (Mark) Lowther, Carolyn Debeau (Shaun McGuinty), and Matthew White. A special grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her grandsons Theo and David Debeau. Marni is also survived by her cherished sister, Anne King, and her dear friend Shirley Shore.
A funeral service will be held at Mangan Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Beaverton.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Graham Thomas Dumas on October 19, 2024, at Lakeridge Health Hospital. Graham passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, and in the hearts of those who could not be there. He was 74 years old.
Graham endured many years of debilitating health issues with an inspirational attitude that remained unwavering. His sense of humor never faltered, even in trying times. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman in his prime, creating cherished memories with friends and family that will continue to bring smiles and laughter in the days ahead.
Graham’s later years were spent building intricate wooden model ships and caring for his beloved four-legged companions, Jimmy, Alaska, and Darby, who he adored.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, partner, and best friend Sue, his sons Mathew (Barbara), Jason (Christine Fagg), Graham Dumas (Telina Lewicki), and his daughter Jessica Fagg. Graham was a proud grandfather to Jake, Brooke, Ezra, Melina, and Brittany. He is also survived by his sister Angela, brother Alan, and brothers-in-law Philip and Ed, along with many nieces and nephews. Graham was predeceased by his siblings Jack, Barb, Dorthy, David, Doug, and his parents Elsie and Alfred.
Cremation has taken place, and no formal service will be held. Celebrations of Graham’s life will be held at a later date.

Filomena Rubino passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on October 2, 2024. Filomena was the cherished wife of Nicola Rubino for 52 years and a loving mother to Giuseppina Rubino-Raposo (Danny Raposo) and Peter Rubino. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery, Vaughan.
