Johnny was the cherished son of Piedade and the late Gregory. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Stanley (Debbie) of Australia and Ashley (Crystal), his mother-in-law Eliza, and his late father-in-law, Caji. He was also close to his brother-in-law Mervin, sister-in-law Cheryl (Henry), and nieces and nephews Bruce (Jasmine), Fallon, Tavarez, Chantelle, Jeremiah (Australia), Jayden, and Tyler.
Johnny will be lovingly remembered and missed by his extended family and his many friends.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Desi (Desző) Tandori, on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the Ajax Pickering Hospital, after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia (now Serbia) in August 1933, Desi came to Canada in the fall of 1966 as a skilled machinist with his wife Marta, their eldest daughter Marta, and their newborn son David. The family grew the following year with the birth of their youngest daughter, Judy, and over time, was blessed with grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Desi approached life’s challenges with an inventive mind and loved the outdoors, music, and playing the guitar in his younger years. His interest in astronomy was a joy he shared with others, and he will be remembered for his bold personality and dedication to his family. Desi will be deeply missed by his loving wife Marta (Horvath), daughters Marta and Judy, son David, son-in-law William, grandchildren Max, Natasha, Nicolas, and his great-grandson Logan, along with extended family and friends.
He will be missed and forever loved…

Pamela Anne van Rossem, born on February 2, 1936, in London, England, passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Pam was a remarkable woman whose life reflected her dedication to family, her love for all living things, and her unwavering commitment to defending the underdog.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lakeridge Gardens Long-Term Care Home for the compassionate care they provided Pam in her final years.
Pam embraced many roles throughout her life, from working as a magazine editor to being a stay-at-home mother, community TV programmer, and later a cashier. Her husband, Johan (Joe) van Rossem, and their family were her greatest joy, and she poured her boundless compassion and strength into everything she did.
Pam leaves behind her beloved husband Joe and sons Chris (Susanne) and Tim (Sophie) van Rossem. She was a proud and loving grandmother to her cherished grandchildren: Oliver, Emily, Millie, and Ella. Her warmth, fierce spirit, and devotion will be forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
A "Time to Remember" gathering will be held on November 15, 2024, at the McEachnie Family Centre, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, Ontario, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Pam’s life and sharing memories of a truly extraordinary woman. With deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the Promotion to Glory of our beloved Garland, who was called home on October 31, 2024, at the age of 82. Garland departed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, and is now in the presence of his Lord and the family who went before him.
Born on November 12, 1942, in Burin Bay, Newfoundland, Garland lived a life dedicated to the Lord, spreading kindness, and bringing joy to all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished papa, and faithful servant of God. His love for the Lord was evident in all he did, and he touched countless lives with his selfless love and unwavering faith.
Garland will be remembered for his warm hugs, jovial laugh, and for always making others feel at home. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Anne (Head) Foote; his children, Elizabeth and Michael (Ligia) Foote; and his granddaughter, Xania Pagliaroli. Garland also leaves behind his brothers, Malrey (Betty) and Alvin (Yvonne), his sister Donna (Bruce), and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel Earl and Rose (Isaacs) Foote, and his brothers, Raymond, Les, Glenwood, and Bramwell.
A Celebration of Garland’s life will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Salvation Army Oshawa Temple. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring his memory and offering prayers for his eternal rest. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McEachnie Funeral Home, and on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salvation Army Church.
In place of flowers, the family requests donations to the Salvation Army Oshawa Temple or the Canadian Cancer Society in Garland’s honor, continuing his legacy of faith and service.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Greg on October 31st, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. Greg is survived by his devoted and loving wife Brenda and his children, Kathy (Greg) and David. Cherished Papa to Gabby, Max, and Rae-Anna, of whom he was immensely proud.
Greg was born in Sydney, Australia, to Edward and Jean (Shambler) Bezer. He immigrated to Canada in 1966 and leaves behind his Australian siblings Ian (Margaret), Roz, and David (Noi), as well as his nieces and nephews.
As both a parent and grandparent, Greg was an active man who spent many years volunteering as a coach for soccer, hockey, swimming, and baseball. He was a proud member of the Ajax Kinsmen Club and a long-time employee of Unilever Canada, retiring in 2011. Greg enjoyed spending his free time golfing and was passionate about giving back to his community. We will remember Greg as a man with a keen sense of humour who always brought a smile to people’s faces.
Greg rests at McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax. Visitation will be held on November 11, 2024, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, followed by a memorial service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Lakeridge Health Cancer Center.
