Our beloved mother, Beryl Rebeiro, was a kind, loving, and devoted mother and grandmother who gave everything she had to her family. She passed away peacefully on March 5th at 2:30 a.m., after a long struggle with diabetes and several health issues.
Mom was a hard-working and dedicated woman. For over 40 years, she worked as an Accountant at the Christian Children's Fund at St. Mary’s Orphanage in Bangalore, India, where she was known for her immense love, care, and empathy for the orphaned children. Even after immigrating to Canada, she kept in touch with some of those children, who held a special place in her heart.
Despite her demanding work, Mom always prioritized her family. She provided the best education, made sure we were well cared for, and created warm and loving memories, especially during the holidays. Like her mother before her, she had a deep passion for helping others and continued her compassionate work even after moving to Canada to reunite with her family.
Mom, we will miss you more than words can say. You were our rock, our guiding light, and our source of strength. Because of you and Dad, we carry the values of love, perseverance, and an incredible work ethic.
Beryl is survived by her children, Priscilla and Gail, her grandchildren Megan and Alayna, sons-in-law Sal and Craig, as well as many friends and extended family members. She will be deeply missed by the staff at Glen Hill Terrace Nursing Home, who grew to love her.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th, at McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Christ The King Cemetery, followed by a celebration of her life. As Mom loved flowers, they are welcome, or donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, a cause close to her heart.

Legacy of Strength
A pillar strong, steadfast and true, a husband, a father, a guide so blue. Grandfather, great-grandfather too, a legacy built with hands that knew.
In work and love, you led the way, teaching us lessons day by day. With wisdom deep and heart so wide, you stood with honour filled with pride.
Your laughter echoed, your presence bold, a heart of fire, yet touch of gold. Through trials faced and battles won, you stood with courage never undone.
More than the roles, more than the name, your love for us remained the same. But now, dear one, your race is run, your rest well earned, your work well done.
Go in peace, stand tall once more, with Mom beside you, just like before. In our hearts, your love won’t fade, a legacy of strength you’ve made.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrew Jones, beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us unexpectedly at the age of 49 on February 17, 2025.
Andrew is survived by his children Gabrielle, Luke, and Ava; his parents Diana and Brian; his brother Matthew; sister-in-law Emily; and his nieces River, Mackenzie, and Madison. Together, they created a lifetime of memories, laughter, and shared experiences that will forever stay with them. Those who knew Andrew will remember him for his loving, protective nature, infectious smile, and the kindness he showed to everyone around him. His warmth touched the lives of many, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his children, family, and friends.
Andrew’s passions were an important part of who he was. He loved spending his days on the golf course, whether enjoying the game with family and friends or taking time for himself at the driving range, finding peace in the game. A lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan, his enthusiasm for football was unmatched, and he wore his team’s colors with pride. He also found joy in the little things, like early morning walks on the beach with a tea and a box of Tim Bits in hand, which he savored during quiet moments or shared with loved ones.
A memorial service to honor Andrew’s life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at McEachnie Funeral Home. Public visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM. Those who knew Andrew are welcome to attend as we come together to remember and celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to share a story, photo, or memory that reminds you of Andrew through the guestbook. Rest in peace, Andrew. You will be forever missed.
