PAGUIRIGAN, Divina passed away on October 18, 2024, in her 85th year. Reunited in heaven with her husband, Mariano Paguirigan Jr. Dear Mommy to Marvin (Alice), Ralph, and Michelle Pampolina (Francis). Proud Lala of Ethan, Tristan, Matthew, Claire, Elizabeth, Emily, Elijah, Roseshelle (Gilberto), Rosalie (Dane), Michael, and Mark. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends.
Visitations will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, Ontario 647-503-4771) on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Monday, October 28, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Pickering Village United Church (300 Church Street North, Ajax, L1T 2W7). Reverend David Jones will be officiating. Burial service to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens in Pickering.

Therese Marie Levasseur

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Therese Marie Levasseur, on October 19, 2024, just two days after her 98th birthday. Therese was a French Canadian, born in New Brunswick, and one of eight children. She moved to Toronto, where she met her husband Guy at a French club. They married in 1964 and shared over 40 wonderful years together. Afterward, they relocated to Ajax to be closer to family.
Predeceased by her husband Guy (2006), her parents Amanda and Ivon, and her brothers Ivan and Clorice, Therese is survived by her loving sisters Adrienne and Doris, and her brothers Ron (Bernice) and Cam (Madge). Her legacy lives on through her cherished daughters Monique and Ginette, son-in-law Brendan, and grandchildren Amanda and Ryan. Therese was proud to have extended family through the MacSweeney family, including Garrett and Kathleen and their children Garrett (Rachelle), Cormac (Laura), and Kevin (Nicole), along with their families.
Therese was most known for her love of children, working many years as a school lunch supervisor. She was a vibrant presence in her community, known for her love of dancing and socializing. Her kindness, strength, and endless positivity left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and her many acquaintances.

Gerhard "Gerry" Steiner
August 26, 1954 - October 18, 2024
On Friday, October 18, 2024, in his 70th year, Gerry Steiner passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Gerry was a devoted husband to his wife of 44 years, Marie, and a loving father to his daughters Michelle (Ricardo) and Leanne (Max). He was a proud and caring grandfather to William, with another grandchild on the way. He is survived by his father George and sister Karing (Robert), and predeceased by his mother Hildegard.
Gerry will be sadly missed by his in-laws Rose, Sandra, Lea, John, and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law Jim and Ron, his nephew Matthew, and nephew-in-law Paolo.
Remembered as a true friend, colleague, and leader, Gerry maintained lifelong friendships and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He lived life to the fullest, with a love for dancing, unique taste in music, Formula 1, and spending time at the cottage. His final words to his family were, "I love you very much," and to his wife, "We had a good life."
A gathering will take place at McEachnie Funeral Home on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matt Gillies at the age of 32, on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024.
Matt was a beautiful son to Lorrene and Ken McMullen, and Martin Gillies. He was a proud father to his children Olivia, Noah, Jack, Callan, and their mother Michelle Attard, along with their grandmother Beth Attard.
He was loved by his aunts Delores, Valerie, Mavis, Donna, Linda, Marg, Dale, Sherry, and uncles Jeff and Todd, as well as step-grandparents Ken and Pat. He will also be fondly remembered by his cousins Mitch, Caitlin, Cody, Shane, Leah, Talya, Sarah, Joey, Jennifer, Rachel, and Dougie, along with many nieces and nephews.
Matt had a wide circle of friends including Garrett, Paul, Shaun, Sam and Chris Attard, Mike Attard, Kaitie and Dan, Lee, Kevin, Thomas, Bryant, Derrick, and Mike.
Visitation will take place on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 1:30 PM, followed by a service at 2:30 PM and a reception at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax. A private family interment will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Margaret’s In-the-Pines Cemetery, 4130 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough.
