Bruce Dexter Bradshaw
16-Apr-1934 - 12-Oct-2024

Bruce Dexter Bradshaw, born in London, England, on April 16, 1934, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024. After 90 years of giving his all, he is now at rest.

Bruce often said the smartest thing he ever did was marrying Jean, something he lovingly repeated for over 64 years. He was a humble man, never seeking the spotlight, but always willing to help others. Whether building new things, fixing what was broken, or simply offering support, Bruce had an incredible ability to figure things out and make them work.

He was there for all moments—big, quiet, sad, and everything in between. His love and support were constants for family and friends. His legacy of kindness, helpfulness, and steadfast presence will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Bruce leaves behind his beloved wife, Jean, and their children David (Brenda) and Jackie, as well as his cherished grandchildren Parker, Megan, Sydney, and Stephanie (predeceased by Spencer). His manner, teachings, and example will live on in them.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him—honey, dad, grandad, Bruce, Mr. B, uncle Bruce, Mr. Bradshaw, friend.

A Celebration of Bruce's life will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road (north of Dundas), on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce's memory can be made to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.
